Review: Driving Lessons
Explanation
Creating a filter: We read the prompt and spot a problem.
"Between" requires the use of "and," not "with." "Between...and..." is a key two-part construction on the GMAT. We look
for an answer choice that solves the problem.
Applying the filter: our filter applies most quickly to
Choice (C), which solves the problem, and choice (D), which does not. We'll
check (B) and (E). In (B), "along with" is wordy and grammatically removes
"Evie" from part of "friends," so it's out. In (E), Ben has now been removed
from the friendship. The correct answer is (C).
