Review: Assembly Rules I
Explanation
This
question, like many GMAT Reading Comprehension questions, asks a question that
may at first seem inconsequential but which, in fact, expresses one of the main
ideas of the passage. As we have seen, the two species of fish are the same
"puzzle piece shape," so speak, and that's why might bump each other out of a
given community. The "same shape" quality is termed "functional similarity"
both before and after the example. This question is an example of how putting
time into understanding the passage saves time in evaluating the answer
choices.
The correct
answer is (A)
